Although they might look similar, don't be fooled by less expensive cabinets that use thin steel, and cheap, plastic wheels on the drawer tracks. Our mobile cabinets feature maintenance-free, roller bearing glides that smoothly extend the drawers, and fully-welded construction from heavy, 25-gauge, powder-coated steel to resist dents and scratches. Drawers also feature a smooth, "handless" design for a clean look. Interior of supply drawers measure 12 1/2"w x 17 1/2"d x 3 1/2"h to store stationery, file folders, and stapler. Hanging file drawer holds 17" of letter size hanging files front-to-back, or 12" of legal files side-to-side. Casters provide smooth mobility on floors or carpeting, and 5th caster on front of hanging file drawer prevents accidental tipping, even if multiple drawers are opened. Locking mechanism "gang locks" all drawers for total security. Two keys included. At just 24" high, cabinet rolls easily under any desktop when not in use.
